Camping Tents in the outback, fire on the white beach sand, fish on the coals, bright stars in the sky, relaxing amongst nature, peace and quiet with the voice of a story. Walking around looking for something to find a pretty coloured shell with a funny design. Meeting friendly people “hello where have you been, we`ve travelled from that way it all must be seen”. Boiling the billy cuppa tea on.
Sitting down looking around seeing birds talking, singing a song. How peaceful the day all day long, time for dinner what`s to eat? We have got all the ingredients to make us a treat, fresh damper in the camping oven red coals for heat, grilled chops and sausages fresh fish as well, all good food to make us well. Sitting around the bush TV. Toasting marshmallows all night long. Time to lay down look up at the stars, clear dark night so shiny and bright. Listening to the night sounds crickets and frogs, look over there a bat in the air, little mice running and having fun.
Wise old owl out on the prowl looking for something to eat. Dingo`s howling calling out loud there voice being carried away on the cloud. Inside the camping tent with a warm sleeping bag drifting away to find another day. Up in the morning suns coming up what`s for breakfast, eggs sunny side up, billy on for tea or coffee. Kangaroo hopping what`s to see, kookaburras laughing in a gum tree, magpies swooping down on me, stops to tell me keep away from my family. Look there a snake! It’s warming itself in the sun, there`s no need to run! Just leave him be! Now who wants a cup of tea?
Breakfast it`s done lets soak up some sun and try our luck at catching a fish. Bait on the hook throw it out to the sea, now wait and relax and see what will be? It’s starting to pull just wait and see, the next one is hard you`re coming with me, steady I wind jumping with glee fish on a hook jumping out at me. Fresh fish for our dinner cooked on the coals what a feed good for the soul. We pack up the camp and leave once again to another place that won’t be the same different people with different names.
The feeling you get that each place provides is unique and special from time gone by. What`s over here lets go for a walk a beautiful view that we cannot talk. The feeling is for more than you can see, look over there that’s not just a tree standing there providing a feed, little birds comes to chew on a seed. Shade from the leaves block the sun. Kangaroo sleep, it`s too hot he thinks why shift form this spot.
